Bowman Refrigeration started with marine refrigeration in 1984.  We have branched out into numerous other areas since then, but marine refrigeration is still the foundation upon which all our other capabilities are built.  Marine applications present some of the most interesting challenges to solve: tight spaces, harsh operating conditions, operation far away from professional service, etc.  We have been meeting those challenges head on for over 30 years.

We are well versed in all aspects of industrial refrigeration across a broad spectrum of applications including cold storage, process chilling, and process freezing (immersion, blast, contact).  With few exceptions we do our own design work and because of the unique nature of much of our experience we are able to think outside the box when needed.  We can build a new system to the latest standard or upgrade an existing system to meet new requirements.  We have a highly capable service department backed up by an experienced support team.
