Bowman Refrigeration is well versed in all aspects of industrial refrigeration across a broad spectrum of applications including cold storage, process chilling, and process freezing (immersion, blast, contact). With only rare exceptions we do all of our own design work and because of the unique nature of much of our experience we are able to think outside the box when we need to. We can build a new system to the highest standard or upgrade an existing system to meet new requirements. We have a highly capable service department backed up by a dedicated support team.

Marine We started with marine refrigeration in 1984, and although we have branched out into numerous other areas since then, marine refrigeration is the foundation upon which all of our capabilities are built. Marine applications present some of the most interesting challenges to solve: tight spaces, harsh conditions, operation far away from professional service, etc. We have been meeting those challenges head on for over 25 years.

Land based At its inception the company was engaged strictly in marine refrigeration; however, it didn’t take long for us to find ways to apply our expertise to land based applications and we’ve been doing it ever since. Experience taught us that when marine systems are put into service they must work, because follow up service calls are prohibitive. That dedication to thoroughness has served us well in land based plants. We are quite mobile and we are licensed in Washington, Alaska and Oregon.
